This documented Yves Saint Laurent day dress from 1970 is made of a beautiful crêpe fabric with a graphic print in nude, red, grey and black and features a buttoned bodice with a large shirt collar, breast pockets and long sleeves with buttoned cuffs. Fitted waist with a single button and an internal hook & eye fastening. The pleated skirt sits at knee-length and features a hidden front zipper from the waist down to the hips. No material tag, probably wool or rayon, crêpe quality, unlined. Many hand-finished details, characteristic of early YSL pieces. Made in France. Reference pic from L'Officiel Paris, 1970.
