An incredibly rare and museum worthy vintage men's blazer from the late 1960s by one of the best French designers and haute couturiers of the 20th Century, Maggy Rouff. Best known for her women's creations, this is a rare and breathtaking piece, not only for collector's of the House of Rouff (as it would have been one of her very last collections), but also for collector's of menswear and is so current and wearable today.

For its day, this jacket would have been pushing French menswear (which is typically simple and classic), looking more like a piece from Carnaby Street at the time, but of a much higher quality that you would expect from a numbered garment by top French couturier - built to last, with hand finished details and amazing structure.

In a brocade tapestry that manages to be eccentric and individual without looking gauche or being overly loud. With two single breasted buttons, welt pockets and notched lapels the tailoring of this blazer is simple yet so effective, letting the fabric speak for itself. Truly a holy grail of men's fashion in museum quality condition.
