First designed by Robert Dumas as a functional bag for independent women the Kelly bag is a name respected and loved around the world. Years ago it was launched to a rather demure response but today it is revered as more than just a fashion symbol but a real investment. The bag is characterized by two pyramid gussets on the sides a turn lock on the flap a top handle and a shoulder strap. This Retourne version is a wondrous work of art stitched by hand using Epsom leather and unlike the Sellier it has a relaxed shape with softer edges. On this bag we see the iconic lock fitted in palladium finished hardware and the flap grandly leading to a well sized leather interior. Of course this Kelly is a classic but what must be noted is the fact that it has undergone the excellent work of talented artisans with every stitch giving praise to high quality and to the beauty of creativity.
