Vintage Hermes Kelly Bags
The Hermès Kelly bag dates back to the 1930's when it was originally designed as the Sac à Dépêches by the son-in-law of the CEO Émile Hermès. Renamed the "Kelly" in 1977 after the actress-turned-princess Grace Kelly, the handbag quickly gained international recognition as an iconic status symbol. Constructed out of 36 pieces of leather and 680 stitches, the Kelly bag comes in many forms today. The most popular models since their introduction remains the "Sellier" and "Retourne".
