A rare and highly unusual vintage men's jacket from the 80s by little-known but incredible British boutique label, Abrasive Aorta by Stefan Archetti. This jacket is a great piece of werable art - mixing ethnic and Western fashion together perfectly. The main body of the jacket is a black, buttery soft leather and the back and front panels are made from a genuine, traditional handwoven and dyed, Sumbanese cotton Ikat Hinggi cloth textile. Archetti's rare label was worn by the likes of Mr C of the Scottish band 'The Shamen' and the singer of 'The Escape club'.
The body of this jacket is slightly cropped and looks great worn with a longer hoody underneath for a more modern, streetwear take on the look or it could be worn with a t-shirt and biker jeans for a tougher look.
